Can Siri Block You?

Siri is absolutely amazing when she is fulfilling all your demands. However, many users wonder whether Siri can disobey your command if it wants. If you say something wrong, can Siri block you in return? With how intelligent Siri is, one must always be on their guard!

There’s no need to worry because Siri cannot block you. It is designed to cater to you; therefore, it will not block its owner. But do keep in mind that Siri does not take all the swearing and insults very well!

Siri is not programmed to block you. However, if you insult Siri, it won’t stay quiet either! This AI assistant stays classy and politely responds to insults. If you swear at Siri, it will say something along the lines of “Hey (your name), watch your language” or “Mind your language”.

One can insult Siri if they’re bored, but there’s really no point in doing so; therefore, you should save yourself the trouble!

You can block/turn off Siri

If you want to block Siri, however, you can turn her off by following the steps given below:

1. Open Settings and tap on Siri & Search.
2. Toggle off the Listen for Hey Siri option.
3. Also, toggle off the Press Side Button for Siri option.
4. Once you have turned off these two options, a third option, Turn Off Siri, will pop up. Turn that option off as well.

Enable these settings again if you want to turn Siri back on. You will be required to complete a short setup process by repeating some of Siri’s commands, so your phone gets familiar with your language.

Siri cannot block you even if you swear at her or insult her, but you can block Siri. Even though Siri cannot cut you off, she can reply back to your insults in more sarcastic yet polite ways than you think!
